Improving the good governance of the SOFAB organization
Establishing a permanent office and fully equipping it with necessary materials.
The members established the organization’s governance structures as stipulated by the laws governing Rwandan non-governmental organizations and empowered them to effectively fulfill their responsibilities.
Appointing a Coordinator to assist the Executive Committee in implementing SOFAB’s objectives.
SOFAB trained all members of its governance structures, representatives of SOFAB commissions, and leaders of grassroots organizations. The training focused on good governance and accountability, with an 80% participation rate.
“Collaborating with government institutions, particularly Rwamagana District and Kigabiro Sector, to enhance cooperation between SOFAB and these authorities in order to improve the well-being of the citizens.
Collaborating with other development partners in Rwamagana District, especially JADF and the National Youth Council in Rwamagana, to promote the development of youth and Rwandans in general.
Encouraging members to contribute monthly dues, increasing the contribution rate from 85% at the beginning of 2022 to 97% by the end of 2024.
